1What is Q-Flow?
Q-Flow is a modern, cloud-based queue management platform that lets businesses manage customer wait times digitally. Customers scan a QR code to join your queue from their phone — no app download needed — and receive real-time updates on their position and estimated wait time.
2How do customers join my queue?
Customers simply scan a physical QR code stand placed at your entrance. It opens a mobile-friendly page in their browser where they enter their name and party size. They instantly receive a ticket number and can track their position in real time.
3Do my customers need to download an app?
No. Q-Flow works entirely in the browser. Customers scan a QR code and join from Safari, Chrome, or any mobile browser. Zero downloads, zero sign-ups, zero friction.
4How does the TV display mode work?
Q-Flow includes a dedicated TV display view optimized for lobby screens. It shows the current ticket being served and the next tickets in queue with large, high-contrast numbers. Just open the display URL on any smart TV, tablet, or monitor.
5What notifications does Q-Flow support?
On our Max plan, customers receive browser push notifications and SMS alerts when their turn is approaching. They get a "heads-up" notification when they're close and a final "it's your turn" alert — so they never miss their spot, even if they step away.
6Is Q-Flow free?
Yes! Our Free plan includes real-time queue management, QR code check-in, and TV display mode for up to 50 customers served. Our Pro and Max plans unlock unlimited customers and additional features like SMS notifications.
7Why should I choose the Max plan?
Max is built for businesses with multiple service providers — like clinics with several doctors, salons with multiple stylists, or repair shops with different technicians. It gives your customers a provider selection dropdown when they scan the QR code, automatically routes "Any Available" requests to the fastest queue, and gives your receptionist a multi-column Kanban board with per-provider shift and capacity management. Plus, you get SMS and push notifications with 500 credits included.
8Can I use Q-Flow for walk-in customers?
Absolutely. Q-Flow includes a Concierge mode that lets your staff manually add walk-in customers to the queue from the dashboard. These entries are flagged as manual so you can track them separately.
9How do SMS credits work?
Max plan subscribers receive 500 SMS credits included. Each SMS notification sent to a customer uses one credit. You can purchase additional credits in bundles of 500 for $25 at any time from your dashboard settings.
10What happens when my queue is full?
You can set a maximum queue capacity in your settings. Once the limit is reached, new customers will see a message that the queue is currently full. You can also force-close your queue at any time from the dashboard.
11Is my data secure?
Yes. Q-Flow uses enterprise-grade encryption (TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest), row-level security policies on all database tables, and we never store payment card details — those are handled by our PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor, Stripe.
12Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your Pro or Max subscription at any time from your dashboard settings. Your plan will remain active until the end of your current billing period, then you'll be moved to the Free plan automatically.
